PGMI students urged to follow modern trends

Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) Professor Ghiyas un Nabi Tayyab has stressed upon medical students to follow modern trends of medical science especially in clinical department, to ensure improved medical facilities to patients. While addressing a function held in honour of third year students here at Neuro Auditorium of Ameer ud Din Medical College on Wednesday, Professor Taayab said medical students must focus on acquiring highest level of professional education and keep their eye on advancements in medical sector.
"The students must also be believer of noble mission to serve the ailing humanity so as to be successful both in this life and after death," he added. Professor Tayyab was of the view that students who remained in touch with their books and respected their teachers succeeded in the long run. He said Pakistani doctors were not behind than any one in medical sector which was evident by the students of PGMI who impressed everyone in the world by their talent. He advised the students to directly contact with their patients as it was part of their practical training.
