The University of Health Sciences (UHS) announced the result of IInd Professional MBBS annual examination 2016. A total of 4920 candidates from as many as 35 affiliated medical colleges appeared in the examination out of which 4330 passed and 546 failed. Result of 44 candidates was put on RL list.
The pass percentage remained 88.80 per cent Saba Tahir d/o Kousar Ali Tahir of Nishtar Medical College, Multan got first position securing 878/1000 marks Muhammad Saad Farooq s/o Muhammad Farooq of Nishtar Medical College, Multan and Bisma Tariq Khan d/o Tariq Mahmood Khan Lodhi of Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore got second and third positions, securing 877/1000 and 875/1000 marks respectively. Supplementary exams will commence on January 24, 2017, a UHS spokesman said.
