An interactive seminar was organised by Dawood University of Engineering and Technology in collaboration with NAB on 'Role of Youth in fight against corruption' on the occasion of anti-corruption day. Major Shabbir Ahmed (Retd) Director NAB Karachi presented his speech, while Hafeezullah Abbasi VC, M Ali Khwaja Dean, Captain Syed Waqar (Retd) Registrar Dawood University also addressed the participants. Major Shabbir Ahmed (Retd) Director NAB Karachi said that anti-corruption campaign cannot be successful in isolation without involvement of community and entire society at large.
He highlighted the importance of role of youth whose resolve is instrumental in eradication of corruption. Dr Hafeezullah Abbasi while addressing the participants said that amongst other causes, moral degradation of society as a whole is the key cause of corruption in society. He reiterated the resolve to eradicate corruption in society.
