Japanese companies plan to expand business in Pakistan

Japan External Trade Organizer (JETRO) Country Director Osamu Hisaki has said that Pakistan is on the top among 20 Asian countries for the Japanese investors and now the Japanese companies are planning to expand business in Pakistan. Previously Japanese investors' prime focus was automobile sector but now they are keep to invest in fast moving consumer goods which is a good sign, he added.
While addressing the closing ceremony of Japan Business Exhibition 2016, he said that the exhibition has got great response from the domestic business community. As large number of high profile personalities from business and media came to witness the high quality and world class Japanese products on the show, he added. JETRO's Country Director said that Pakistan is a high potential market for different goods among other economic sectors. "Japanese companies are eager to expand business in Pakistani market according to the JETRO Survey", he added.
Japanese companies related to, pharmaceuticals, construction, transport /automobiles, industrial machinery, textile, paint and big business groups presenting/manufacturing Japanese products in various sector of Pakistan are there to show their class. Professionals from different business sectors showed great interest in Japanese cars and motorbikes, healthcare, pharma, chemicals, steel, machinery, paints, along with many other Japanese products. They appreciated the organizers for putting up this huge show and bringing many Japanese brands under one roof. An eye catching display of Japanese culture grasped the attention of visitors.
80 Japanese and Japanese affiliated companies in the Pakistan and their brands have attracted thousands of Pakistanis, JETRO as the facilitator organization of the Japanese Government for trade has always prioritized bilateral economic relation exhibitions and bridging the gap between Pakistani and Japanese business communities to bring them together for interests and economic prosperity of the both nations.-PR
