Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Captain(r) Muhammad Ameen Wains said that all the criminals involved in assassination of Kismat Baig had been arrested by the police. While addressing a press conference at Police Lines on Friday he said police also sought physical remand of the arrested ones. He said the prime suspect Rana Muzamil had already been arrested. Interrogation revealed that he had hired assassins for the assassination because of his enmity with the actress.
Muzamil was a promoter of Kismat and he had introduced her to the showbiz. "We have also arrested Muhammad Rizwan, Habib-ur-Rehman, Abid Hissain and Muhammad Azam," he added. He said police personnel were also interrogating some stage actors for ascertaining further facts. According to Wains, Muzamil had provided weapons to kill Kismat.
