An eye witness of May 12, 2007 incident has recorded his statement before the Magistrate at the Malir Court here. The witness said that those firing the bullets were chanting "Jeay Altaf" and "Jeay Muttahida" slogans. The eye witness stated that unarmed people were fired near Malir Halt while crackers were also thrown. Many people were injured from the firing and cracker pellets in front of me, the witness added. The eye witness also stated that the suspects arrested over the incident are the same who were firing on the people that day.
