Led by Turkish Minister for Health Dr Recep Akdag, a 15-member delegation of Turkish health experts will be visiting Lahore from December 22 to 25, to give a final shape to the measures for implementation of memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed during recent visit of Turk President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The Turkish delegation besides visiting different public and private sector hospitals will also pay a visit to Drug Testing Laboratory Multan. The Turk delegation will finalise matters regarding mutual cooperation in different sectors during this visit, a spokesman of Punjab health department said.
It may be noted that during recent meeting between Chief Minister Punjab and Turkish Health Minister, it was agreed that a special delegation of Turkish healthcare experts would visit Punjab and submit its recommendations after complete review of healthcare system in the province. Sources said the Punjab government wants to evolve an effective healthcare system in Punjab in the light of recommendations of Turkish health experts for providing relief to the patients in the real sense.
