US wheat futures rose for the fourth day in a row on Tuesday as investors continued to unwind short positions ahead of the year's end, traders said. Chicago Board of Trade March soft red winter wheat futures, the most actively traded contract, traded in negative territory during the session but found support at its 20-day moving average. Consolidation was noted at its 30-day moving average.
K.C. hard red winter wheat futures also closed in positive territory. Tunisia's state grains agency has issued international tenders to purchase up to 92,000 tonnes of soft milling wheat and 50,000 tonnes of durum wheat, European traders said on Tuesday.
