Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) operated a C-130 flight for passengers between Islamabad and Gilgit on Sunday. PIA Spokesman Danyal Gilani said, "The C-130 flight will continue its operation from Islamabad to Gilgit till completion of ATR Plan checking."
The flight was operated five days after PIA grounded all 10 ATR planes in its fleet following a decision by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to hold shakedown tests of the aircraft.
