Pakistan Economy Watch (PEW) on Sunday asked the government to improve transport infrastructure because feeble transport system was engendering hike in the cost of doing business.
The PEW said that the transport system, largely dependent on the road transport, was increasing the cost of agricultural and industrial production resulting in the high prices of such products while it also increased the cost of doing business for exporters who complained it caused a decline in the exports as well.
