President Mamnoon Hussain on Wednesday said that Pakistan's future is in safe hands adding that the youth should ready themselves for future challenges. The President said this while addressing the Annual Parents' Day at Cadet College Hasanabdal. Principal Cadet College Hasanabdal Major General Najeeb Tariq (Retd), students, parents and people belonging to various walks of life were also present on the occasion. The President said, "Cadet College Hasanabdal is playing an important role in imparting quality education and training to the determined youth for the defence and service of motherland."
He stated, "We are indebted to innocent children and teachers martyred in APS Peshawar tragedy and pay tribute to their bravery and courage and resolve that we will never allow such a situation in future which may jeopardise the life of not only our children but of any Pakistani." The President commended the administration of Cadet College Hasanabdal on organising an excellent ceremony and also gave away awards, medals and certificates to the students.
