The PPP Punjab leadership, along with a good number of die-hard party workers, is all set to leave for Karachi in order to welcome the former president Asif Zardari at the Quaid-e-Azam International Airport. Leading party stalwarts of the party from the province of Punjab have confirmed their presence in Karachi on the day Zardari lands at the Quaid-e-Azam International Airport.
The newly-appointed party president in Punjab Qamar Zaman Kaira is working hard to revive the glory of PPP in the province. He has already held a series of meetings with the zonal heads throughout the province to finalise December 27 event in Larkana. A senior party leader Sohail Malik said there would be no rally on December 23 like it was held when Benazir Bhutto had returned Pakistan during the Musharraf regime.
It may be noted that a section of media has reported that the party workers would accompany Asif Zardari up to Bilawal House. Meanwhile, the party sources added that the party workers are in process of finalising their travel details to attend death anniversary of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto on December 27. The party workers would reach Larkana through various modes of transportation to pay homage to their great leader.
