Indonesia has cut its outlook for 2016 copper production to 241,553 tonnes from a previous forecast of 310,000 tonnes, the country's coal and minerals director general said on Tuesday. Bambang Gatot also said the Southeast Asian nation was crimping its nickel matte production outlook for this year to 78,827 tonnes from 80,000 tonnes.
But 2016 tin output is now seen at 62,420 tonnes, up from a previous estimate of 50,000 tonnes. Gold production is seen at 87.51 tonnes, compared with 75 tonnes earlier.
