Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Senator Sirajul Haq has urged the Muslim bloc to abandon the so-called United Nations if the latter can not take any decision in the interest of 1.2 billion Muslims around the world. He also called for establishment of the Muslims world market, same educational syllabus and a joint force.
He proposed so on Sunday while addressing "Ummat-e-Rasool (SAW) March," organised by JI Karachi chapter to express solidarity with the oppressed Muslims of Myanmar and Aleppo (Syria).
Siraj accused the UN of hypocrisy and double standards saying that so-called international institutions didn't act to rid innocent Muslims of the plights they suffered. He said these institutions took action in the interest of global powers and even raise voice for animals rights as well but didn't adopt any solid measure to help oppressed Muslims.
Tens of thousands of people including a large number of students of religious seminaries and colleges, women and children also participated in the JI rally. They were carrying placards and banners and chanting slogans against the hypocrisy of Muslim rulers also.
"This gathering is an expression of solidarity with the oppressed Muslims particularly of Kashmir, Myanmar and Aleppo. He shed light on the plight of Muslim women and children in Aleppo, who, he claimed, were subjected to rape, physical and mental torture and gruesome executions.
He expressed deep sorrow over silence of the Muslim leaders across the world on the issue.
He said that the JI rally was a manifestation of life within Muslims Ummah. He urged the state of Pakistan to play an active role against these brutalities. He said that JI always played an active role on the issues of Muslims across world.
He termed the JI rally as a beacon of hope. He said that situation would have changed if the entire Ummah had a single Salahuddin Ayubi.
He hailed the active role of Turkey on the issues of the Muslims across the world.
He also lashed out at India saying that that blocking water to Pakistan would be a declaration of war against the country. He said the rulers of Pakistan were weak but the nation was strong.
He asserted that the year 2017 would be a year of struggle for a peaceful Islamic revolution. He said that the JI, if came to power, would ensure social justice in the society. He said that JI was determined to transform the country into a clean, green, peaceful and Islamic Pakistan.
"Current global scenario requires an active role of Pakistan in the affairs of the region as well as the world," he urged.
JI Sindh chief Dr. Merajul Huda Siddiqui said that differences among Muslim Ummah were costing Muslims in Myanmar, dearly because they were facing genocide there. He also lambasted the so-called liberals for not highlighting the issues of Muslims in Myanmar and Syria. He called for unity of Ummah.
"Though the UN maintains a criminal silence, we are thankful to Turkey, France and other Western countries who raised their voice for the people of Syria and Myanmar," he said.
JI Karachi chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman in his speech said that around 4 million Muslims in Syria were compelled to exodus. He lamented that no one was caring for them none was talking for them.
"Unfortunately, Arab countries are also intentionally ignoring these migrants," he said, adding that the situation has put a question mark on the position of Pakistan government also.
He demanded restoration of Islamic State of Rohingya which suffered fall due to British imperialism.
