Bilawal too should play role of opposition leader: Khursheed

Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah has said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari being Chairman of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) should also play the role of opposition leader. Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah expressed these views while talking to media persons in his chamber at the Parliament House on Tuesday. He said that Parliament and democracy would gain strengthen further after Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari become part of the Parliament.
He said that Parliament is supreme and it is an honour to play role of public representative in the Parliament. Answering to a question, he said that Javed Hashmi should have exposed all things about Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan when he had tendered his resignation.
He said that Supreme Court would deliver judgement according to law and in the interest of the country, adding the apex court would have to play role to eliminate corruption in the country. Answering to another question, he said that opposition would strengthen if PTI joins hands with PPP. "We want to unite the opposition parties," he added. "I appeal to the Prime Minister to bring a case against me filed by National Accountability Bureau," he said. The opposition leader said that PPP is launching a movement against the PML-N government in this month.
