Central, South chapters of PPP finalise Bilawal's itinerary

Both the Central Punjab and South Punjab chapters of Pakistan Peoples Party have finalised the schedule of visits for Bilawal Bhutto in Punjab, said PPP Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira. He was addressing a press conference at the residence of PPP South Punjab President Makhdoom Ahmed Mahmood on Tuesday afternoon. Other office bearers from both chapters including Nadeem Afzal Chan, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Nitasha Daultana, Shaukat Mahmood Basra and Abdul Qadir Shaheen were also present on the occasion.
"We will share the schedule of Bilawal's visit to Punjab soon with media," he added. According to him, the party would set its 'tempo' in coming weeks before launching a long march against the government. He said Imran Khan was on the streets since 2014 against the PPP that has yet to start is anti-government movement. When asked the meaning of political long march, he said, a long march is political while a 'march' is non-political.
Makhdoom Ahmed Mahmood criticised the government for manoeuvring local bodies' elections by spending Rs 400 million in district Rahim Yar Khan. Both the leaders also criticized the government for its anti-people governance style. The PPP leadership also cut the birthday cake of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in connection with 5th January celebrations.
