Speakers pay tributes to Qazi Hussain

Speakers at a seminar while paying glowing tributes to the services of former Ameer Jamaat- e-Islami (JI) late Qazi Hussain Ahmed have said that not only Pakistan but entire Ummah at present needs a leader to unite Muslims who are becoming prey to sectarianism. Eminent speakers at the seminar said that the people like Qazi Husain Ahmed never die but remain alive in the memory of their nations. Late Qazi Husain Ahmed had strived for the oppressed people of Kashmir, Palestine, Burma, Bosnia, and other parts of the world till his last breath, they said.
Ameer JI Senator Sirajul Haq presided over the seminar which was also addressed by JI Deputy Chief Professor Khurshid Ahmed, Railways Minister Khwaja Saad Rafiq, Allama Arif Wahidi, Allama Saqib Akbar, Wing Commander Latif Qureshi(Retd), and Asif Luqman Qazi. Siraj-ul-Haq highlighted the character and role of Qazi Hussain for spreading the message of Islam in the world. Siraj gave a brief background of the life of late Qazi Hussain Ahmed and said Qazi remained JI chief from October 7, 1987 to March 29, 2009.
