12 Jan, 2017

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday directed Islamabad administration to expedite the anti drug campaign in educational institutions. In a statement, he directed the anti narcotics force and police to take action against those involved in drugs trafficking and it should be expanded to rural and adjoining areas of Islamabad.
Chaudhry Nisar said those playing with the future of the nation do not deserve any mercy. It is pertinent to mention here that under the directives of interior minister, rangers and police have already launched a grand operation in different institutions of Islamabad. Law enforcement agencies have pulled their socks up against drug sellers and launched crackdown on them in areas around Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad.
Rangers and police under the supervision of Captain Zeeshan on Wednesday conducted a grand operation in five areas with the help of eight sniffer dogs. These areas include Dhok Narail, Rumli Village, Malpur Mira, Dhok Tahir, Bajran and Dhok Sahali. Over 200 police and Rangers officials are participating in the operation to eliminate drugs from the educational institute.
The poison of filthy drugs is being injected into the students who vision studying in one of the country's best institutes. Men in authority have kept to their habit of ignoring such sensitive issues in daily life. The rate of drug abuse in Pakistani universities is expected to rise if any suitable measure is not taken.
