50 Pakistanis imprisoned in Bahrain

At least 50 Pakistanis are languishing at deport center of Bahrain for more than one year. Detained workers belong to Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh and Kohat. According to details, Pakistani workers had filed a petition in Bahrain's court seeking payment of salaries. The court gave verdict in favour of workers but the authorities concerned moved against the verdict and got them detained at the deport center.
Pakistani embassy in Bahrain has not yet contacted the workers. Some of the workers have been identified as Yasir Ali, Sajid Rahim, Mohammad Arshad, Usman Ali, Khwaja Kamran, Haq Nawaz, Mahboob Khan, Mohsin Kamal, Amjad Islam, Babar Ali, Mohammad Israr and Mujahid Rasool.
