Fake doctor arrested from hospital

A person namely Amlaish, resident of Rana Colony Gojra Road Jhang Sadar, has been arrested from the Allied Hospital Faisalabad for posing himself a doctor and collecting donations for a mosque from the patients. While giving the details, Medical Superintendent Dr Rashid Maqbool said that Amlaish entered the Allied Hospital at 7 pm. He posed him as doctor and was collecting money from the patients as donation for a mosque.
On suspicion, floor supervisor informed the security staff which apprehended him and handed over to the additional medical superintendent Dr Zulfiqar.
On investigation, the accused could not prove his identity as a doctor.
Later, he was handed over to police station Civil Lines for registration of FIR and further investigation.
Moreover, Medical Superintendent District Headquarter Teaching Hospital Gujranwala has rejected media reports claiming that due to non-availability of bed, a "charpai" was laid in the ward for a female patient.
The MS said that the relatives of a female patient Bashiran Bibi brought her on a "charpai" to the emergency ward of the hospital where she was shifted on a bed in the ward.
He said that it is a false claim that a "charpai" was brought by the relatives of a patient due to non-availability of bed in the emergency ward of the hospital.
