APCAA to hold seminar on effective border control

All Pakistan Customs Agents Association (APCAA) is going to organise a seminar on "Data Analysis for Effective Border Management' on International Customs Day on January 26, 2017. M Amjad Chaudary, chairman APCAA and Arshad Jamal senior vice chairman said that APCAA was the only trade body across the world which was not only celebrating International Customs Day but also organising seminar on this auspicious occasion at Federation House on January 26, 2017.
S M Muneer, chief TDAP, Zubair Tufail, President FPCCI and Senior Vice President Aamir Ata Bajwa FPCCI will grace the event as chief guest while Chief Collector Muhammad Zahid Khokar will participate in the event as guest of honour.
They said that the seminar was aimed at highlighting the role of clearing agents in customs related activities besides giving an overview about the functioning of different customs departments.
They said that Directorate Reforms and Automation, Directorate Afghan Transit Trade, Directorate General Customs Valuation, Collectorate Export, Preventive and all three Appraisement, East, West and Port Qasim will give presentations and speeches in the seminar.
