Over 78 Pakistanis languishing in different jails of Saudi Arabia

More than 78 Pakistanis - 29 convicted and 49 under trial - are languishing in different jails of Saudi Arabia on minor charges. According to an official document, seven Pakistanis were arrested on charges of drug use, eight for brawls, 12 for immorality, eight for drinking wine, seven for betrayal and six for road accidents.
The document further stated that four Pakistanis were languishing in jail on charges of forgery, three for financial claims, while two each on the charges of sexual harassment and destroying property.
Two Pakistanis are in jail on the charges of assaulting a police officer, violating inviolability of home, drinking, cyber crime, resisting police, theft, selling wine, blackmailing, bribery, damaging official vehicles, running from police and sexual harassment.
It said that according to secret agencies reports, 210 Pakistanis were found begging in streets after they managed to enter Saudi Arabia under the guise of pilgrims. Out of 210, 18 have been arrested and search for the remaining is continued.
Pakistanis are languishing in different jails of Saudi Arabia including Dammam, Malaz, Khobar, Buraidah, Al Hair, Buraida, Jubail and Oniza.
