'Model United Nations in LUMHS' held

A 3-day conference was inaugurated on Thursday, arranged by the students of Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences Jamshoro under the banner of "Model United Nations in LUMHS". While addressing at the inaugural session the Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Munir Ahmad Junejo (Administration) LUMHS expressed that in Model United Nations, students step into the shoes of ambassadors from United Nations member states to debate current issues on the organisation's vast agenda.
Students in model united nations prepare draft resolutions, plot strategy, negotiate with supporters and adversaries, resolve conflicts and intensely navigate the united nations rules of procedures as applied in the respected united nation bodies, all in the interest of mobilising international co-operation to resolve problems that affect almost every country. Professor Aneela Atta Ur Rahman Pro Vice Chancellor (Academics) LUMHS expressed that "Model United Nations in LUMHS" is a forum for students with the aims and objectives to gain insight into the workings of United Nation.
