Sacrifices of army, people will always be remembered: Jhagra

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that the immortal sacrifices offered by Pak Army, security forces and the people at large the country will always be remembered with great respect and regards. He was addressing the 10th Martyrdom Anniversary of the renowned police officer, Malik Saad Shaheed which was held under the auspices of Malik Saad Shaheed Memorial Sports Trust; a volunteer body named after him at Nishtar Hall here on Friday.
The Chairperson of the trust, Mst. Malik Saad Shaheed, Secretary Amjad Aziz Malik, the elder brother of the Shaheed, Malik Asad and a number of police officers and cops as well as near and dear ones of the martyrs besides a large number of senior citizens were present on this occasion.
Today, the Governor said, we are here to remember all of our national heroes who by laying their lives have practically proved the quality of steadfastness of the nation in hour of trials. Indeed, he said, the highly valuable sacrifices offered by young students of Army Public School; jawans and officers of security forces and the people at large, have made us realise that the future of the nation is protected; since, we as nation are imbibed with this spirit.
Additional Inspector General of Police Syed Akhtar Ali Shah while speaking on the occasion paid rich tributes to the great sacrifices which the jawans and officers of the security forces have been rendering for security of the nation. With extremely limited resources, he added, our jawans and officers have achieved tremendous successes.
