HRW wheat bids higher

Basis bids for hard red winter wheat were higher for rail shipments to the US Gulf Coast on Monday, extending recent gains to the highest levels since March 2015 on support from strong export demand for that wheat variety, traders said. Limited supplies of some higher HRW protein classes and strong rail freight also underpinned the Gulf wheat basis, which has increased 21 cents per bushel in about two weeks.
