Balochistan transfers 172 doctors from Quetta to various districts

Government of Balochistan has transferred a bulk of 172 doctors from Quetta to different districts of the province to provide better medical facilities and meeting shortage of doctors in far flung areas of the province under the vision of Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri and priorities of health Department.
This was stated by provincial Secretary Health Noorul Haq Baloch while speaking with different delegations here on Friday. He said these districts are Kohlu, Kalat, Killa Saifullah, Zhob, Killa Abdullah, Loralai, Zhob, Mastung, Kalat, Khuzdar, Ziarat, Jaffarabad, Bolan, Jhal Magsi, Kharan, Barkhan, Nasirabad, Awaran, Dera Bugti, Gwadar, Musakhel and Sherani.
He said Chief Minister has accorded approval of special package of additional allowance for doctors and staff.
He told that disciplinary action would be taken against doctors failing to report to their concerned hospitals and no pressure would be sustained in this regard. Secretary health said Government was taking emergency measures for providing best treatment facility, supply of free medicines and now meeting shortage of doctors. He said doctors were discharging their duty of service of humanity.
He said on the directions Chief Minister and Chief Secretary Health Department was paying special attention to improve health facilities in remote areas of the province.
