A woman was killed while two others injured in a couple of violence incidents here on Wednesday. According to police and rescue sources, Zareena, 55, wife of Sharif was killed while Sana,22, daughter of Sharif was injured when unknown man opened fire on them at Madina Colony Sector 11 Orangi Town. The police were clueless about the motive behind this incident. PS Mominabad officials said investigations were initiated to ascertain the fact. The body and injured were moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities and treatment respectively.
Farhan, 25, son of Riaz was injured while offering resistance in a robbery bid near K-4 roundabout Power House in the limits of New Karachi police station. The victim was rushed to ASH for medical assistance.
