Another weather system to reach next Friday

The Met Office has forecast another weather system to reach Pakistan on next Friday, likely to unleash rains across all the provinces by the weekend. It alerted the citizens to landslides and avalanches in vulnerable areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir from the expected intermittent rains over the period.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA: Rain with thunderstorm is expected at a number of places in KP and FATA from Friday evening to Sunday. Isolated heavy rain/snow over the hills is also expected in Malakand and Hazara divisions on Saturday and Sunday. Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir: Rain and snowfall with isolated heavy falls are expected at a number of places from Friday to Monday.
Punjab, Islamabad: Rain with thunderstorm is expected at scattered places of Islamabad, Upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha divisions) on Saturday and Sunday. Snowfall is also expected over the hills of Murree and Galliyat during the period.
Balochistan: Rain and thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places of Northern Balochistan (Quetta, Kalat and Zhob divisions) on Friday and Saturday.
Weather in the next 24 hours: Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in the most parts of the country. However, rain (with snow over the hills) is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Quetta and Zhob Divisions, Upper FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas. Temperature in Skardu was minus 13 degree Celsius, Astore and Parachinar minus five each, Gupis and Malamjabba minus four each, Kalat and Bagrote minus two each and Mirkhani, Rawalakot and Hunza minus one each, over the last 24 hours.
