Kaira blames Punjab government for failure to control attacks

Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira wondered Friday that blasts took place soon the PPP leadership intends political activities. He was addressing a press conference in the city along with other top leaders of the party. He also expressed his concerns over an extension to the military courts in the country.
The PPP leader criticised the Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah for his failure to control terrorism in the province of Punjab. "The government should take action against the terrorists' facilitators in case it is serious in controlling the menace," he suggested.
He said attack on the Shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar would fan sectarian divide and pointed out that the government was making false claims regarding killing of the Daesh leadership. He also lamented that the government ministers make a mockery of Bilawal when he extends his condolences to the relatives of blast victims. Kaira said the rulers were protecting the country by erecting security walls around their residences.
