Alleged robber lynched by mob

An alleged robber was killed while two people were injured in separate incidents, here on Tuesday. Police and rescue sources said that angry mob lynched an alleged robber when they caught him red-handed while committing a robbery bid inside a milk shop located near Gos Pak Road Korangi No-4 in the jurisdiction of Zaman Town Police Station.
The owner of the shop identified as Faizan son of Shoukat sustained a bullet wound when he offered resistance to the robbery bid. The body of robber was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities. Gul Nisa wife of Saleem sustained injuries in a cracker attack by unknown accused at Afshani Building Street No-4, in the limits of Kalakot police station. She was moved to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for treatment. In another incident, a man identified as Abdul Samad, 30, was shot and injured while offering resistance to a robbery bid near Fatima Jinnah College in the limits of Jamshed Quarters police station.
