Panamagate case: stringent security arrangements made

Additional security measures were seen, here on Thursday as more manpower was deployed and stringent checking was done to help tackle any probable law and order situation over expectation of important decision in Panama case hearing at the Supreme Court as well as to deal with any threat from the militants.
According to reports, there was a strict checking of vehicles at the Islamabad Club road and in the red zone. Long queues of vehicles were seen at both the roads as the authorities were not allowing any one to pass through without proving identity. The police also feared confrontation between workers of PML-N and PTI in case a verdict was given in the Panama case. CCTV cameras were monitoring the area inside and outside the Supreme Court while no one was allowed to stand in the corridors of the Court. Police sources said that IG Islamabad is monitoring the situation himself.
