24 Feb, 2017

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Awami Muslim League (AML) on Thursday pinned high hopes on the Supreme Court, saying upcoming decision in the historic Panama Leaks case will expose ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and strengthen the country.
The future of the country is linked with the landmark decision in the Panama Leaks case, said Emir JI Siraj-ul-Haq while talking to media persons outside the Supreme Court. "Whatever decision comes in the case, rulers have lost morale ground to rule the country," he remarked. Across the board accountability is needed to purge the system of the corrupt, said the JI emir, adding that the National Action Plan (NAP) is required at all levels to get rid of the economic terrorism.
PTI leader Naeem-ul-Haq said that people have come to know that the Prime Minister is hiding truth, adding that the decision is about to come in this regard which would represent public sentiments. "We have full confidence in the court and the decision would be the last nail in the coffin of corruption," he added.
The PTI leader further said the PML-N always tries to turn decision in its favour. He also demanded Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to make the Dawn Leaks Report public, claiming the prime minister's family members were found responsible for the issue and that is why the report is not being made public. President AML Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said that the decision in the Panamagate case is going to purge the country of corrupt rulers, adding it would make the country free of corrupt system.
He said the court is requested to give a historic decision in the case, saying the entire nation is looking towards a landmark decision in the matter. If the court doesn't get free the country from the corrupt rulers, problems would further increase.
