It is indeed heartening to see the Management Association of Pakistan(MAP)upholding its mission and vision of leading the change process towards best management practices for over fifty years now. By holding its Corporate Excellence Awards each year since 1982, MAP has endeavored to instill excellence amongst the Pakistani companies.
Organising competitions and institution of awards for promoting excellence is a healthy trend to achieve peak performance and optimising productivity. The efforts of MAP, the non-profit organisation, must be lauded and supported by the industry as well. Pakistan today is aspiring to achieve a high rate of growth and shine as an emerging economy. With recent geo-political / regional economic developments and burgeoning trade links, the need of the hour is to remain competitive; striving for excellence both within culture of company as well for the leaders that steer it, is therefore, imperative. My felicitations to the Management Association of Pakistan for relentlessly harnessing such an initiative in Pakistan. I would like to congratulate the winners of the 32nd Corporate Excellence Awards and Certificates for their excellent accomplishments as meeting the transparent criteria at play is a task in itself!
