LHC judge resigns

A judge of the Lahore High Court, Mazhar Iqbal Sidhu, has resigned from his office owing to some 'personal' reasons. He has sent his resignation to the President of Pakistan on Tuesday. He was on 10th number in seniority and was scheduled to become Chief Justice of the LHC on September 1, 2022. The number of LHC judges has dropped to 59 after the resignation of Justice Sidhu. He started practice in 1985 and was elected as President of District Bar Association Sheikhupura in 2004. He was elevated as judge of the Lahore High Court in 2010.
