Formal trading of Roshan Packages Limited begins at PSX

The formal trading of Roshan Packages Limited (RPL) has started on Pakistan Stock Exchange on Tuesday. On this occasion, a ceremony was organised at the main trading hall of PSX. The Chief Executive Officer of RPL Tayyab Aijaz Qureshi rang the traditional opening bell on this occasion. Talking to media, Tayyab Aijaz Qureshi said that the company has offered 32.5 million (30 percent) shares and raised Rs 2.8 billion. The company's offered of 30 percent shares was oversubscribed by 6.8 time.
He said that the capital was raised to expend company's operation. The expended facility of the company would be operational by June 2019. He said the country's economy is growing rapidly and the growth of FMCG has increased many fold. Due to increasing demand, the company is going to increase its production capacity, he added. Deputy Managing Director of PSX Haroon Askari said that more companies are coming for listing at PSX.
