JI launches fund-raising campaign

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan has announced to initiate the "Prosperous Pakistan Fund Campaign" from 1st to 15th March 2017 all across the country against corruption and for the enforcement of fair Islamic system. Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Women's Wing Durdana Siddiqui has said that following the announcement of JI Chief Siraj-ul-Haq, women will aggressively participate in the Prosperous Pakistan Fund Campaign.
She said that corruption is spreading like a curse among our society and corruption is the single element which has prevailed and remained powerful in the past 70 years of Pakistan. "The disability of political leaders and corruption has made the masses impatient and pushed the country toward the edge of political, social and economic destruction", she added.
She said that presently every Pakistani is born with a loan of 1.5 million due to continued borrowing from the internal financial institutions. Durdani said that people are deprived of the current political system and seeking a positive change in the country. "At this stage, the betterment of country is impossible without the eradication of corruption which is only possible when the powers will be given in the hands of responsible and loyal people", she said. She said that the leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami is free of all kinds of corruption and is capable of freeing the nation from all disasters. "Thus in order to bring these leaders in power, we should actively participate in fund raising campaign", she further said.
