Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here Thursday has announced medical treatment of a second year student of the Danish School Chistian, Sidra Shahadat, from government expenditures and directed the authorities concerned to provide the best medical aid to the girl. On the instruction of the CM the medical treatment of Sidra is being done by a team of doctors led by renowned orthopedic surgeon of Ghurki Hospital.
Due to the strike of doctors in Services Hospital, the student of the Danish School was left unattended in the hospital for seven days and operation of the injured student could not be carried out. When the CM took notice of the incident, the girl was immediately shifted to Ghurki Hospital from Services Hospital where successful operation of the girl was carried out.
