Pesco officers directed to reduce line losses

The new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (PESCO), Engineer Shabir Ahmad has given targets to all Superintending Engineers (SEs) for reduction in line losses, enhancement of recovery, 100 percent photo meter reading and EROs by the end of June this year.
The meeting held at WAPDA House was attended by General Manager (Technical) Syed Hassan Fazil, Chief Engineer (Operation), Mohsin Raza Khan, Chief Engineer (Planning), Muhammd Iqbal Khan Marwat, Chief Engineer (PMU) Dr Mohammad Amjad, Chief Commercial Officer Mian Hamid, Director MM Altaf Umerzai, all Superintending Engineers of Peshawar, Khyber, Bannu, Swat, Mardan, Abboatabad, Mansehra Circles and senior management of the company attended the meeting. The CEO urged to provide facilities to public and guide them in resolving their electricity problems at their door steps. He directed SEs to hold open katcheris for the redressal of people complaints.
