Sajal loves Ahad Raza Mir’s rendition of ‘Ko Ko Korina’, but Twitter thinks otherwise

Updated 20 Oct, 2018

Actor Ahad Raza Mir made his Coke Studio debut yesterday with Waheed Murad’s ‘Ko Ko Korina’ that he sang along with Momina Mustehsan, however, Twitter seems divided over this revamped rendition of the song.

Reactions were mixed, with many lauding the crisp and modern twist to the song while others dissed it, stating it didn’t do justice to the original.

Although people are fond of Ahad's acting skills and he has been winning hearts while romancing actor Sajal Aly in ‘Yakeen Ka Safar’, but Twitterites are not so sure about his singing capabilities.

On the other hand, Ahad’s co-actor Sajal took to Instagram to praise his efforts to recreate the classic song. “Many actors have lip synced to this song, but for the first time an actor actually sang it! Not an easy task to sing a classic,” she wrote. Ahad and Sajal are one of the most loved on-screen couples, while their fans even wish they become real-life couple off-screen.

Bringing back the oldies!Interesting how many actors have lip synced to this song, but for the first time an actor actually sang it! Not an easy task to sing a classic, and it's good we are revisiting our history. Paying homage to Pakistani Cinema! #kokokorina
