CBOT wheat futures mostly steady

Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures were mostly steady on Friday, with concerns about exports and weakness in MGEX spring wheat limiting gains despite technical strength. CBOT soft red winter wheat for May delivery found support near its 30-day moving average.
MGEX spring wheat futures sank to their lowest since February 1 as planting season approached.
The most-active CBOT soft red winter wheat contract posted a weekly gain of 1.0 percent. For the week, K.C. hard red winter wheat futures were up 0.6 percent and MGEX spring wheat was down 1.3 percent.
Russia is considering exporting part of its 4 million-tonne state grain stockpile to free up storage space before the new crop arrives, industry sources said.
Turkey's state grain board TMO has issued a series of international tenders to purchase a total of about 130,000 tonnes of milling wheat to be sourced from the European Union.
