Islamabad High Court was urged on Saturday to issue directives to the concerned authorities to block immediately all the pages and IDs from Facebook containing blasphemous words, sketches and videos. Petitioner Muhammad Tahir from civil society filed the plea under Article 199 of the Constitution making the Federation through secretary ministry of interior, secretary Ministry of Information Technology, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) through its director general, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) through its chairman, inspector general of Islamabad police and Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) through its chairman respondents.
