Implementation of fixed minimum daily wages demanded

Leaders of different labour organisations have demanded the reinstatement of the services of workers of various local and foreign firms and implementation of fixed minimum daily wages in factories. They warned if their demands will not accept till March 20, they would hold a sit-in outside provincial assembly building in Peshawar.
Addressing a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Monday, President of Mehnat Kish Labour Federation, Ibrar Ullah said that the provincial government had failed to protect labour rights. The federation general secretary Sherzada, Tila Mohammad from National Labour Federation, Shakeel Wahid ullah of Mazdoor Kissan Party, Awami Workers Party Engr Haider Zaman, JI leader Engr Ameer Alam Khan, PTI labour wing leader, Tahir Raees and other office bearers, were present during press conference.
