PU vice chancellor asks students to adopt positive activities

Vice Chancellor of Punjab University Professor Zafar Mueen Nasir has urged students to give message of hope to the country and nation through positive activities. He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of mini Olympics at Punjab University College of Information Technology (PUCIT) new campus here on Monday.
PUCIT Principal Professor Mansoor Sarwar, faculty members and a large number of students were present on the occasion. The vice chancellor lauded college administration and students on successful and colorful arrangements of the wonderful event. In his address Dr Zafar Mueen Nasir said that the passion of the students is a clear proof of Pakistan's bright future. He said that his policy is merit which was already implemented in PUCIT.
He said that under the leadership of Dr Mansoor Sarwar, the college students must show their creative skills to the world. He said that the best brains of IT were teaching students. He said that the new building of the college would start soon and asked the college administration to launch research journal. Addressing the ceremony, PUCIT Principal Professor Mansoor Sarwar said that the administration was paying attention to positive activities of the students. He said that with the approval of Vice Chancellor, a technology park would be set up to groom innovative ideas of the students. He said that canteen, cricket ground, basket ball ground and other such facilities would also be built for students at New Campus building of the college.
