Punjab chief minister briefed about census' arrangement

A meeting presided over by Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and Corps Commander Multan Lieutenant General Sarfraz Sattar was held at Corps Headquarter Multan in which a detailed briefing was given regarding the arrangements for the sixth census. During the briefing, it was told that the arrangements for the first phase of the census have been completed.
The participants of the meeting expressed their satisfaction over the arrangements. The Chief Minister was also briefed about the progress on the Garrison Public Library project. Addressing the meeting, Shahbaz Sharif said census is a vital national responsibility for better future planning, adding the importance of the census is well known for effective planning at every level.
He said Punjab government has taken revolutionary measures for the empowerment of the youth, adding the project of the Garrison Public Library is a splendid project of spreading rays of knowledge and the Punjab government will continue all out cooperation for the project. Chief Secretary, Secretary Higher Education and concerning civilian and military officials were also present on the occasion. The Chief Minister also visited Garrison Public Library Project and he was given a briefing on the progress on the project.
