Two senior clerics, Asif Nizami and Nazim Nizami, from Delhi's Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah, have gone missing in Pakistan. India is said to have taken up the matter with Pakistan's Foreign Ministry.
One of cleric went missing from Karachi while the other went missing from Lahore.
BR staff reporter adds: Meanwhile the Foreign Office said on Thursday that it is aware of the reports about the missing Indian clerics and the concerned authorities are looking into the matter.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria, the Indian High Commission in Islamabad informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs about the matter and requested help in the recovery of two Indian clerics who are said to have gone missing in Pakistan.
