PANAMA PAPERS CASE: PML-N will accept Supreme Court verdict: Amir Muqam

Advisor to Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Central Senior Vice President, Engr Amir Muqam said on Thursday that his party has full confidence on Supreme Court, and would accept its verdict on Panama Papers case.
While addressing at a news conference at Peshawar Press Club, he said the Panama case is in the Supreme Court and we respect the apex court and its decisions.
He expressed the confidence that the Apex Court's verdict regarding Panama Papers will be based on justice.
He said the court's decision will have far reaching consequences. He said PTI is resorting to media trial on the issue.
During the press conference, Insaf Lawyers Forum district president, Hidayat Ullah along with entire cabinet members, quit the forum and joint PML-N Lawyer Forum.
Flanked by PML-N Lawyer wing president, Alamzeb Khan, Malik Jehanzeb, Subhan Khan and office-bearers of Lawyer wing, Amir Muqam termed that the joining of PTI district lawyer wing, was great setback to the party and its leader Imran Khan.
He thanked the former PTI Lawyer wing president and his cabinet on behalf of PML-N and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
He blamed that Imran Khan was using the Panama Papers case to gain cheap popularity. The people had rejected the PTI leadership for their duplicity, he added.
He said that PTI-led provincial government had failed to bring real change during last four years rule.
He said Imran Khan was against the Metro bus project in Punjab, but his party led government seeking loan from donors to execute same project in Peshawar,
which was clearly shown double standard of PTI leaders.
