Capital traffic plan for Pakistan Day

Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has devised a special traffic plan to guide motorists on the occasion of Pakistan Day, taking place at parade ground on March 23. According to the plan, the entrance of heavy traffic in the city would be banned from 12:00am (March 18) to 1:00pm (March 19). The road from Fiazabad to Zero Point, Khanna to Zero Point and Rawal Dam to Faizabad and Shakarparian road helipad will be closed for all kind of traffic on March 19 from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Similarly, on March 20, the entrance of heavy traffic in the city would be banned from 12:00am to 1: 00 pm on March 21 and on March 22, entry of heavy traffic will banned from 12:00am to 1:00 pm March 23. Road from Fiazabad to Zero Point, Khanna to Zero Point, Rawal Dam to Faizabad and Shakarparian road helipad up to best eastern police picket would be closed for traffic from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm on March 23.
The motorcars coming from Lahore could reach motorway passing through the Peshawar GT Road Rawat T-Cross and Rawalpindi Saddar Road. The traffic coming from Airport could reach Kashmir Highway and G-sectors of the federal capital through Expressway than using Khanna Pul, Lehtrar Road and turning left from Taramri Chowk toward Rawal Dam Chowk and then towards Kashmir Chowk. The same traffic could move toward Murree through Kashmir Chowk.
The traffic coming to airport and Lahore can reach Airport Chowk via 9th avenue Murree road, Rawal road and then turn left from Airport Chowk. The traffic coming from motorway could go to Aabpara, Bhara Kahu and Murree by using Kashmir Highway. Faizabad will be closed for all kinds of traffic.
