Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Siraj-ul-Haq has asked people to revolt against the exploitative system instead of bearing cruelties, adding that after coming into power they will provide employment opportunities for youth and old age allowance for senior citizens. Speaking at a public meeting in Mardan on Saturday, he said in all past elections, the corrupt mafia was handed over the reign on the basis of their wealth. He warned that in case of not bringing electoral reforms before the elections, they will take to streets against the rulers.
On this occasion, 169 political notables including informer district President, QWP Rasheed Ahmad Khan, Khalid Khan Mohmand, Iftikhar Khan Mohmand and large number of lawyers announced joining JI. Welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, Siraj said that those representing World Bank and International Monetary Fund are not sincere with Pakistan as obtaining loans from international monetary institutions is no economic policy. He said the JI headed government will disburse the loans instead of seeking more.
The JI chief said they carried struggle against corruption and beside staging train march and carrying mass contact movement, they also knocked the door of apex court by filing 3 petitions for elimination of corruption, which had reserved judgement.
