Pakistani TV actor/host Salman Shaikh a.k.a Mani has recently made fun of ongoing #MeToo movement and it didn’t go down well with the fans.
Where people around the world have been supporting #MeToo movement with strong words, actor Mani mocked the founder of movement in some really offensive words.
Taking to Instagram, the 42-year-old TV host shared a picture of Tarana Burke – the founder of Me Too movement and wrote, “This is Tarana Burke, the founder of Me Too movement. Don’t know who touched her and why”.
People are furious over his insensitive comment on such crucial issue. A local journalist, Manaal Fahim Khan, tweeted, “Salman Sheikh, aka Mani, just shared this on Instagram. The crazy, raging, man-hating feminist in me has no words. Congratulations Mani on leaving me, and so many others, speechless.”
Many other Twitteraties also bashed him by saying that he is sexist. However, after facing severe criticism he deleted his controversial Instagram post.
I’m not enraged anymore about this post made by Mani because this isn't even sexism but I’m SAD to realise that people don’t understand that there’s a fine line b/w humour and bullshit. I’m so glad that this movement was started because it was genuinely made for such people. pic.twitter.com/rdSj2uTuN2

We thought Hira Mani was shitty to steal her bestfriend‘s man but her husband is the one who’s actually trash on another level. pic.twitter.com/3w4Vgcewuo
