CBOT corn futures fall to 10-week low

Chicago Board of Trade corn futures fell to a 10-week low on Friday, pressured by plentiful global stocks and concerns about waning export demand for US supplies. Corn futures have fallen for five days in a row, posting a weekly loss of 3.2 percent. Expectations for good soil moisture around the US Midwest when farmers begin planting in the coming weeks added pressure to the market.
A sharp drop in soybean futures added weight to the corn market but gains in CBOT soft red winter wheat provided some support.
